A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds with your paint to form a durable, transparent protective layer. Unlike wax, it doesn't wash away after a few weeks — it becomes a semi-permanent shield that protects against UV, chemicals, light scratches and contaminants while giving a deep, glossy shine.
Depending on the tier and how the car is maintained, a professional ceramic coating typically lasts several years. Keeping up with regular maintenance washes (or a maintenance plan with us) helps the coating perform at its best for as long as possible.
No coating makes a car fully scratch-proof or maintenance-free. Ceramic coating adds a strong layer of protection and makes washing far easier, but you'll still need regular gentle washes. It greatly reduces swirls and minor marring, but it isn't a substitute for careful washing.
A coating locks in whatever condition the paint is in. If there are swirls or scratches, the coating seals them in too. That's why our higher tiers include a 1-step or 2-step polish first — to correct defects so the coating goes over a flawless finish for the best possible gloss.
